Default MBX-6T Quick Build Question

Guys,

Quick question... I'm in the process of building my truggy and wasn't sure about Step 13 on page 7. The instructions make mention of filling oil into a small hole on the side of the front upright. Any idea what oil this should be? Diff, shock or just a general, quality home oil like Tri-Flow or 3-1?

I'd appreciate any help!

Don't bother putting anything in there. From my experience putting grease in there attracts dirt and makes rebuilds more messy.

Enjoy the rest of the build!

You are right, it is in the manual. I could see it being an important step if you take the seals off the side of the bearing that faces in. But if you leave the rubber seals on what's the point?....my $1's worth haha

thats my whole point in using pb blaster as the lube for the uprights, since pb blaster is magnetic the lube is absorbed by the inside of the bearing on the upright because the bearings are made of steel and the lube is magnetic, its crazy when u watch pb blaster work..... will make old gritty bearing spin like new.... its kind of a cleaner/lube
