Default Covered Outdoor Track

I have seen some pics of a track (I think in Texas) of a very large outdoor track that is covered by what looks to be a carport type structure. Has anyone found any problems with these types of tracks? I know there is a large expense, but there seem to be definite advantages.

Are there any problems that you guys have seen? Track not drying?

I think you are talking about Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter, TX or "Mike's" as it's known locally. Track is awesome - hard packed red clay in a warehouse type building that is open on three sides so you don't choke to death on dust or nitro fumes. Because the sides are open the track does occasionally get wet when we get bad rain and it blows in from the side. When it's wet they usually close that section of track and use blowers and fans to dry it out. All in all, I can't think of any drawbacks - if you've got the money it's a GREAT way to build a track.
