It started working again, so that's a good sign. Be gentle with the Dub-D and air compressor and then wrap it up tight!

You can also clean electronics with rubbing alcohol. It will evaporate out and clean off the electronics. Just makes sure it is clean before you run power through it again!

Aaron - Thanks for the setup

Casper-Thanks for the info. I have wanted to try that new endbell on my stock motors. It funny that Orion has priced things the way they have. i think that they will be making an adjustment once they figure out that people are buying the new michine wound motors just to use the endbells on their stock and 19t spec motors. I hope that means the cost of the endbell kit gets more reasonable.

D MAC - FYI - Unlike the OS and Novarrosi which have a rubber o-ring on the neck of the carb, the Sirio has an o-ring that is inside the case. It seal against the bottom of the Carb when it is installed. Its a much better setup.

The SV2 endbells are plastic moded with "special" brush hoods that allow you to use the round brushes. These will be much cheaper to produce then a machined alum endbell. The endbell adaption kit does come with two sets of brushes and 4 sets of springs which is nice but they are still pretty pricey. A complete dyno tuned stock motor only costs $27! the endbell more then doubles the price of the motor! Oh well. I am trying find out when the SV2 mods will be out. They have some that are fixed timing with bushings and they are listed for $17! My limited use of these endbells in stock, 19T and mod have been great. Once you figure out how to assemble and work on the motors it is a great idea!

As far as carb seal's go.... It is a good idea to use high temp RTV on ALL of you motors to seal the carb and the high end needle regardless of o-rings. It is just a good practice to get this out of the way vs. trying to track down an air leak in the future!

Yes, the new filters work very well.

I ran my new Rossi Pixy .12 in my gas truck tonight and I'm almost convinced this motor will be the next level. I ran almost 11 minutes on a tank in the main tonight (driving VERY hard) and the motor came off at under 200 degrees. It had very controllable power throughout the whole range and wound out like a top down the straightaway..I was giggling it was so fast.

In other news, I've decided that 1/8th scale is WAY SUPER DOPE (especially when your car is superdialed!). Check the Jammin' thread for more info :-)

I ran Adam's Sirio Kanai Evo II from the Worlds..and HOLY CRAP was it fast! Bottom end that wanted to rip the track apart and top-end for days..

..and then he scared me. He said that the engine was starting to get worn out and that my new one will be faster. Whoa buddy!

Oh! Yes..it was the Rossi Pixy .12...the oval-shaped gold head is unmistakable.

It was really very good..I can't wait to get it fully broken in and tuned up!

Todd - I have been, but I might be switching to Rossi pending a decision from the guys over at Trinity. They sent me a motor just to see how I liked it...and it was actually pretty darn good!

SoFast-NT - I have heard that also..but I think that if Trinity decides to jump in head first and support Rossi and their engines, that problem will go away.
