Circus - yes.
Talent show - to be determined.

Default MST-1 side bite

Hey Aaron
I know this is a little off topic but I run an Mugen MST-1 I have been fighting for rear traction ever dince I got this thing. If the track is wet I have tons of bite both front and rear but when the track dries out I end up with no rear traction and side bite seems to be the biggest issue. If I run +1* camber in the rear is gets better but I know there has to be a better way. We normally run PL Holeshots at our track but square fuzzy T's work pretty well but they wear out real fast! Any help you could offer would be great.

Oh by the way, I have ran both Bradley's and Ashtons set ups and both seems to have this problem.

Evan - I haven't really seen anyone use them with success. They're more of a novelty item to have from the experiences I've witnessed.

Troy - Thanks for the kind words

ccm - From what all the Mugen guys have told me, the rear ride height is the most important adjustment on the truck. Make sure the rear of your truck is above arms level and that should help as a crutch until I can get some better information.

Leave that question on the MST-1 thread and Gary Guest will be able to answer you next week. He has the best handling MST-1 I've seen.

EVERYONE - I'm leaving for the Reedy Truck Race...be back on Monday!

Aaron, I just saw your article in RC Driver (I think it was that one), congrats man, you're famous now. Now all you've got to do is convince Losi to make a XXX-NT AW edition

You shouldn't have had to cut the coils to lower the car...you could have raised the collars or got physically shorter springs. Losi offers springs from 2"-2.5"-2.75". You shouldn't need a sway bar. A stiff front spring will keep the front end up and a soft rear spring will keep the traction and allow the car to sag under heavy acceleration. http://www.teamlosi.com/techtips/spring_chart.htm The higher percent fuel you run, the faster you car will be because there is more nitro metane content in the fuel itself. I don't know left from right with a nitro engine so someone else will have to pick up my slack on this one.
