Pull it off the track and set it aside, just like if any other car breaks something. If the driver or pit guy wants to come and get it and re start it that's up to him. But you don't leave your corner. If someone stuffs it in front of you and you're busy fixing someone elses car while they sit there on the hose, you'll have an upset driver on your hands.

swo you don't have to run across the track and give it the to the pit guy.

Just take it back to your corner and be ready to get the next car that crashes. The pit guy's the one who should come get the car from you. That's with any car, gas or electric, on or off road. I've seen races where a turn marshall will have 3 or 4 cars piled up next to him by the end of the race.

I'm really down with the race directors and fellow racers at my track(s) so I get a little "lea-way" when I'm cornering. Unless before a "big-race" it is specifically directed that you aren't allowed to touch a car after its flamed out....then I'll follow that. But, ususally, I'll yell over to another corner and tell him to keep an eye out for a few seconds while I run it over to the pit. But traffic always comes first so really, you shouldn't mess with the car if it dies...thats the pit mans job.

mafia - I NEVER wear hats (unless it's raining, or I'm running errands in b-ball shorts and sandals and I didn't do my hair)..
Cooter - Red Tapers in the rear. 90% of the time, Silver Tapers are the best front tires, but there have been times where we've run Silver 8-Ribs instead.
Ted - It varies from race to race. Sometimes, the race promoters ask that the turn marshal run the car back to pit lane so the pit guys don't run onto the track. Often times the turn marshals need to get the car to the outside perimeter of the track, and let the pit guy come get it.
If you're unsure, set it down next to you and don't worry about it.

Hi Aaron,
I jave another question for you.
I just bought Schumacher wire to go from the battery to the ESC.
It says 2.5 square millimeter thickness,
Is that like 12 Gauge wire ? or maybe 14 Gauge ?
Do you know this !

flamethrower - Brian Kinwald and Adam Drake have been a big help as far as getting me to where I am. All the Team Losi drivers throughout the years have helped me immensely.
I've been racing since a little after my 10th birthday..and I just turned 18 a few months ago.
snikkari - I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's 12 gauge wire. It might not be exact but it should be the European equivalient.
