D Mac - This place is for sharing information..so it's all good.

www.rc10b4.com is a big Associated website with a forum where a lot of team drivers and company reps post and read daily. You can get most of your questions answered over there from AE guys.

Losi and Trinity really like their drivers to cover as much of the internet as possible.

notch - I'm just trying to find time in my busy schedule..haha.

Let's keep the pointless posts to a minimum, ok?

Connecticut is an awfully long trip for a club race. If Madness ever holds the Nationals, then I'll make my way out there :-).

I had to sign a few magazines at work today..it was kinda funny.

Haha no, Losi R&D would mean a 90 minute commute each way! I'll leave that to the guys who know what they're doing..

I work at the local Hobby People. I get to help all the backyard bashers keep their R/C cars running!

I think in off road the reason you only see Orion guys running Losi's is because, if you're an Associated factory driver, you're proabably running Reedy motors and batteries. Since Losi dosen't have their own motor company in house loke AE does, their drivers run Orion, Trinity, etc... So it's the other way around. I'm pretty sure Orion isn't the one making that call. I know they don't in on road where there's a lot more choces for what car to run.

Hara - HPI, Hodapp- XRay, Shurricarn (sp?) Tamiya, etc...

Orion drivers can run any car they would like. Brent Thielke (now team manager at Associated) ran for Team Associated and Orion for years before switching to Reedy. Gary Guest is one of Orion's big names in gas truck racing around this area, and he runs for Mugen Seiki.

Orion's on-road team is equally split up among more than a few car manufacturers. Like jkerr said, Greg runs for XRay, Hara runs for HPI, Surikarn runs for Tamiya, and David Spashett runs for Losi.

Default m8 epa

Aaron I just got a hyper 7 and was having serious trouble with my throttle epa. I can't seem to get a nice linear pull. I have to turn my end point down to like 12% for it not to reach full throttle in like a 1/4 inch on my trigger. do I need to get a new m8 or is there some trick I could be missing. my radio is seven years old maybe time to retire it. with electric cars and one touch setups this is not noticable but with a servo I am not finding a solution. any suggestions would be great.

Two things:

1) Check your throttle exponential. If it's anything different, set it to 0%. My guess is that it's probably in the positive values, and maybe pretty high.

2) The throttle pot in your radio might need to be replaced. You can have the radio serviced by Airtronics for around $30 I believe.
