i got a good question for aaron, actually 2.
first, ive bashed for years, and im finally getting back into RCing with my rc10GT. im putting a CV-r in it this week, followed by mip 3/16ths CVDs and an mip clutch. some time in the near future id like to try my hand at racing against other guys now that i finally do all my car work myself.
what advice would you give to a n00b to racing, to help make things more successful the first time out?
second, i saw you in the losi spread of octobers rc car action, how the hell do you keep your hair up after a full day of racing? i just wear a hat, cause if i put my hair up i have matted hair and a sticky forhead at the end of the day (and yes, im kidding about the hair)

Tyler - Oh I'll be there..we're getting there Tuesday night.
Tell Skid I said hi! He was wai cool at the Nationals..and he's gettin' super fast!
piggy - They're Taper Pins. The Panthers you're thinking of are Switches..where do you think they got the idea from?
beetlebz - Just have fun. On the track, go as slow as you need to in order to keep crashing to a minimum. Your first couple trips to the track might be frustrating from a competitor's standpoint, so remember that you're there to have fun.
Pay attention to the race director and don't be scared to ask a lot of questions!
I use hair glue that comes in a yellow toothpaste-type tube from a company called got2b. I got Peanut (Travis Amezcua) hooked on the stuff too. It's sticky enough to stick a comb to your hand...hahaha. And if you blow-dry your hair with the stuff in it, you can pop balloons.
