The carcass of the Big Shot is rounder and the tire is taller.

It could be any bearing in the car. Make sure everything spins freely.

My first instinct was gear mesh.

Hey Aaron,
I was wondering if you knew if plastic Arms would be better than Graphite arms on a Rough, Tight, Loamy track (Family Hobbies in Santee) with a D5 10x2? I'm told that plastic gives a little, whereas Graphite Shatters... Do you know anything that could help me?

losifromhell - Graphite parts will always handle better (although a plastic chassis can help on a high-bite track..nothing you'll ever notice). The only time you might want to run plastic is when the outside temperature is very cold..the plastic parts will be more durable than graphite, which gets brittle when it's cold.

I've had two separate gas trucks for a while just for that reason. It's useful for me because I race so much, that I don't have to constantly rebuild one truck for big races because I abused it during club races.

If you're going to do that, make sure they're as close to the same as you can possibly get them, especially if you're going to try to share setup in between the two trucks.

Sway bars help keep the car flat on high speed corners on very smooth and sticky tracks, really only in mod racing when it's very competitive. Most people will never need them.
