Brian,

I was running Aaron's XXX BK1 setup, but knowing me, I had to make changes. I'm never happy knowing that a setup is good the first time out. It will be the death of me someday. I ran this all weekend...

Front:
40wt oil
55 piston
no limiter
2 on tower, middle on arm
3-B with no washer
1 deg. of toe
1 deg. of camber

Rear:
32.5wt oil
56 piston
no limiter and unthread 3 turns
2 on tower and outside on arm
2-A link
1 deg. of antisquat
1 deg. of camber

I ran a different tire for every main. Worn out X-2's in the first (not enough traction).... Fresh Ifmars in the second (traction rolled)....Holeshots in the third (just enough to take the win) I hope to see you again in Tacoma!

I got a question for you. Why aren't you keeping up with your moderating or at least your thread. What did they do to you out there in Shweeden? Did you loose all your moderating and question answering power? Talk to me Man!

Just kidding...how was the trip?

Trip was freeeeeee! I'm running for Jammin'/Ofna now..I get my car in a few weeks :-)

And it was the most fun I've ever had..oh man.

TSB -
1. Inside will give you more, and usually smoother, steering.
2. I'm pretty sure it's the spindle that will give you bump-in, and keep the car stable when jumping and going through bumps.
3. It will help stop the ballstud from breaking. And it makes it easier to get out if it does break.
4 and 5. Not sure what raising the spindle does..no one ever does it. Down is the best everywhere.
6. Changing pistons changes "pack", which is how the shock reacts to short and sudden compressions.

everybody likes a little a$$, but nobody likes a smart a$$!! LOLO

It just seemed odd to me that AW would get a full ride in 1/8 since I didnt know he ever raced them, and was hinting him to elobarate how it came about. Its all good

Sponserships come around for many reason's. One is knowing the right people. As for driving an 1/8th scale. Aaron is an acomplished 10th scale gas truck driver. If you can drive that fast an 1/8th scale is easy! The thing about 1/8th scale is that it is expensive!

Congrats Aaron. Now just make sure drivng that new 1/8th scale BUGGY (j/k inside joke ) does not take away from your ability to drive 10th scale. 8th scale can be so easy to drive it will make you stupid! LOL

WO....somebody actually asked ME a question. I must be cool or something. Eehh, no, I am not Chris Bridgewater....I wish! I am chris Woods, of A-main raceway in Vancouvar. But I really don't mind if you want to call me Chris Bridgewater. I don't mind being known as a national champion....

I will be running the brand new Jammin'/OFNA buggy, and should be getting my kit sometime soon. Jay Halsey is the team manager and he's a total kick, I think it's gonna be a lot of fun.

Nothing will take away from my responsbilities with Losi and doing my best to win races for them.

bigl - I've only run on loamy tracks with my Gen II cars once, and I can't say that they were set up the best they could have possibly been.

I'd start with the stock setups for both and start making changes to suit your driving style. Both kit-included setups were aimed at a neutrally-balanced car for all kinds of track surfaces.

AE basher - Your slipper or diff could be slipping, or your gear mesh might be too tight (which may have ruined the pinion and/or spur gears).

notch - I don't have a week off for almost another month..but I'll be there soon.
