Smitty - Thanks, I deserve a mulligan every once in a while!

Jon - Oh trust me, I spent a good five minutes trying to resist the urge to say anything.

You WILL like the car. That's a ridiculous argument. I don't know if anyone has gotten one, given themselves the time necessary to learn a new car, and gone slower.

Besides, you can get in touch with a Losi team driver pretty easily

After the Reedy Race, let me take your car for a few laps next time we're at the track and then we'll talk.

You didn't run into the closed door, or were you lucky it was open?

Really good, I've had a pretty good first half of 2007!

I made all three mains at the U.S. Gas Champs, the gas truck main in Vegas (and the B in buggy and truggy), and the buggy main in Arizona (and the B in gas truck, haha).

Running three classes at all of these gas races is a new challenge, but it's cool to get so much track time. I'm running the JBRL Nitro Series, the Southern California Saturday Series, and will be at the RC Pro races for the West division, the Hot Rod Shootout, and the ROAR Buggy Nationals in St. Louis, among a ton of other events this year...haha.

I've always heat-cycled my motors, but with the Trinity Platinum .21's, we've started breaking the engine in wide open and tuned very rich. Both methods seem to work fine, I haven't really noticed a stark contrast in performance or engine life between the two.

AW, can teh Novak brushless ESC that comes in teh losi RTR be used with burhed motors? I see it can only take the 10.5 or 13.5 burshless motors, but see nothing on the brushed.
Thanks

I had to look it up, this is what I found:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Articles...ArticleID=1584

"Can I use other brushless motors with the included Super Sport Speed Controller?

The 10.5 Super Sport was designed specifically for the included Novak 4300 Brushless motor only. Unlike the Novak Super Sport Plus or GTB, the 10.5 Super Sport is not compatible with brushed motors either. Use of any other motor with the Super Sport ESC could potentially damage the ESC and will void your warranty. "
