Bummer... everybody knows it all & has no questions!
(Just my sneaky way of bumping this thread as I've found plenty of answers on it)

What is the best way to keep your neck from getting red while gas racing?? do you recomend a certain SPF??

Also... now that losi is making a 1/8 car.... are they going to release a TL wife beater style shirt??

Are there more setups somewhere online for the XXX4?

On Losi's site there are only 3 setups I think posted all of which are outdoor tracks.

Looking for info on indoor med-high traction.

Thanks

So Aaron,
When the AE buggy comes out does that mean Korn will leave GS, and Cavalieri leave Kyosho, Saxton, Mayfield leave TTR, Taylor james leave Jammin and so on and so on??? ( forgot Tebo and Odonnell)

Is 1/8 scale giong to be like electric offroad? (two dominant MFG's) Your thoughts?

I devinetely think so! how many shops do you walk into that have Mugen and Kyosho lining the walls....VERY few....but how many of those shops have LOSI and AE up and down the walls....pretty much all of them. I personally think the 8th scale market will rise up in a major league way, but will be subject to the fact that losi and AE are the big hitters out there for car MFG. It's gonna be an interresting next few years!

Thank you Casey for batting clean-up...haha.

I think 1/8th scale can potentially turn into a two-horse race, especially if Losi's new 8ight is as big of a hit as I (and everyone who has any sort of connection with Losi) and Associated swings for the fences with their buggy design.

As far as Associated requiring their drivers to run the AE buggy over their current sponsor, I'm not sure. Associated currently lets racers run other cars in different classes (I know at least Rick Hohwart runs AE off-road cars and a Tamiya touring car) and the fact that they haven't encouraged or had their drivers to switch to TTR makes me think they might let their drivers continue to run other cars..but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't seen Kyosho falling out of the 1/8th scale scene, because it's still the bread and butter of the off-road world (even moreso now than it was even five years ago) and Kyosho is actively involved in 1/8th scale off-road racing. Their new offices in the U.S. should help them make a presence here.

bong...I mean bighead - The wifebeater would be dialed...maybe I should have a few screened? As far as sunscreen...resistance to the red neck is futile when you're gas racing, so I don't even bother fighting it anymore.

runnin rc10 - There should be more soon enough; there's a few things Losi has to sort out before that happens but it shouldn't be toooo much longer.

Billy - Thanks! I like trying to keep everyone interested in the race. I was at RCX on Sunday, had a good time too...I love meeting people and talking, about whatever.
