Aaron:

Did you run Drake's "the Dirt" setup at the US Gas Championships at KZ? What is the best tire setup for qualifying and a 15 min main there?

Thanks

True R/C Racing - Haha..well..

penggoy - I wouldn't use grease on the clutch bell and spur gear on a buggy. They work just fine with no grease.

It will depend on which size gel cell you buy. I use the blue Ofna box and a Yuasa YTX12 motorcycle battery in it, which will not fit in the Mugen box. A YTX9 might, you'll have to take some measurements and check it.

Todd - That is the only setup I run on my gas truck, regardless of which track we go to. My favorite front tires for KZ have always been Red Directionals with stock foam. Red Studs (A-7639R) are the best truck tires available for KZ right now, but the new King Pin will be very good when the track gets dry.

You have mail.

thanx Aaron
about the gel cell that I already have, it doesnt fit inside the mugen box unlike in associated box where it can fit inside.

You might have to get smaller battery. Hope it works!

Aaron,

My beloved Teikin finally gave up on me so I just bought a new charger today. http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...13104606441.46 It should be here by the time I race again in a few weeks. I bet you're probably a Novak kind of guy, but I didn't have enough for the charger AND power supply. This one should be good times though! Anyway, now that I have the peak threshold function.....how should I set it for my 33's?

Thanks!

Straight from TL's on-road guy..set the threshold at .03.

Good luck with the new charger..isn't it based off the Reedy charger?
