Maybe something like paint thinner? It probably won't have any adhesiveness if it hardened up and then you thin it back out. I didn't talk to anyone at the office today so I didn't hear anything..sorry.

Davidka - I'm almost 100% certain that the kingpin ballstud people were using was an Associated part. On the old cars, it made the steering smoother and easier to drive, because you're making the camber link longer.

AW

Im going to try the ball cup on the hub instead of a captured end, it felt freer and smoother, and more travel to.

My question is how often do you replace the cup??

How often do you replace the ball stud?

Thanks

The new gray cups are dialed! I popped one off during the A-main warm-up at the Nationals this year, popped it back on, and ran it for the entire 60 minute main. They're awesome.

If more than one ball-cup pops off of the same stud, it's time to replace the stud. It's best to check your cups and studs before every big race, and before every big race main. As far as club racing goes..I usually let them slide for a long time, haha.

We tried the grey cups on the inside along with a titanium ball stud. The problem with that was on an off camber jump we broke the stud!!!. We went back to the captured end on the inside and then the greys on the outside. We probably should go with a black or white cup so it would pop off rather than break the stud.

Hey Aaron, when can we expect to see the XX-4WE available? Teamlosi.com says it's limited, Horizon Hobby says out of stock already.

Default Molded Outdrives

I've been running molded outdrive set (losa3097) in my XXXT MF in stock truck. I also added some Titainium rings that keep them from splitting (trinity pieces). I purchased an MF2 and I am wondering if they are the same dimensions (will they work in my new truck)?
