Only if you move to San Diego and use "way super dope" in the correct context...haha.

Aaron:

I watched you drive on Sunday and you did a great job. Marty is always a cool customer when he is in the lead and is hard to catch. However, you were catching him a few feet every lap. I think you could have attemped a pass after the woops section on the last lap but might have taken him out in the process. GOOD CLEAN RACING! Your Dad kept telling you to stay calm but he was a basket case both races.

Great Job!

mafia - Congratulations!

todd - You didn't introduce yourself....man!

I was extremely happy with my performance in both classes yesterday. Marty has a lot more time at Sun Valley than I do and it was great just to be able to run with him there; it's like when he comes and races with me in Hemet. Home track advantage!

My truck was working so well...if the main had been 45 minutes like originally planned I would have had enough time to make a clean pass stick and pull away. There were plenty of chances for me to crash him on the last lap but I hate winning that way.

I was soooo excited about buggy. That was my first Pro buggy podium! My car felt great all weekend and Brett and my dad busted their butts getting my motor tuned and everything fell into place on Sunday. All those guys keep telling me that I couldn't keep up in buggy...now what? haha

My poor dad. I watched him race the Old Dude Stock Truck class at the Shootout last year and if he's half as stressed as I was watching him I don't envy his position at these races AT ALL!

Default MF2 question

Aaron,
Long time Losi racer here. I have one question. I see on the MF2 setups that you run blue buggy springs on the front. Is that blue buggy front or rear springs? I am thinking that you mean rears but since the front springs are only 1/2 inch shorter (2.5" vs. 2"), could I get the same effect running the shorter blue springs (2 inch) on the front of my MF2? Thanks for the info.

Blue FRONT buggy springs is what a lot of people are running on the MF2 right now.

Front:

Shocks: Blue buggy springs, 2 on tower, Inside on arm, 32.5wt with 57 pistons.

Camber: 2-b with two washers, 1 deg of negative camber

Misc: Spindles down, one washer under spindle ball stud, LVA outside.

Rear:

Shocks: Pink springs, 3 on tower, middle on arm, 27.5 wt with 56 pistons

Camber: 1-A, 1 deg of negative camber

Misc: 1 deg of antisquat, hubs centered, LVA narrow, bones level

Misc: I have run this same setup on tracks from loose and bumpy to blue groove with great success. NOTE: On blue groove tracks only change rear camber to POSITIVE 1 deg and move the lower front shock mount to the middle. Only change tires to what works on that dirt.
