D Mac - Use a dremel to flat-spot the pins, and the set-screw will hold them just fine.

mafia - The CG difference won't be what you'll notice, but the change in roll center. I don't think it will work very well, but it's worth a shot.

LOL @ Troy..trying to get me in trouble. I feel FINE, I just spent the weekend on vacation.

ted - I think it's www.shorterhobbies.com

Bob - Try the off-road conference at www.sgrid.com

tomoko - It may just be your setup. I haven't modified anything to get more droop and my car is one of the best through the rough stuff.

Less droop helps with corner speed.

sdmlsu - I don't know? I haven't seen or heard of the new ones.

lmslms - Thanks for the help!

Trixter - My mechanic is my dad..haha. He uses the shock dyno every time he rebuilds the shocks..it's dialed! Every time your car just doesn't feel right, but the setup "should" be spot on..throw your shocks on the shock dyno.

Hey Aron you took the weekend off the same weekend I built the AD2, you cant do that . LOL Actually it went togeather pretty good, and your boys Lance Norric, and Mike Kendall helped with some pointers, Losi= good tech support.

My question, how long can you go before putting fresh oil in the shocks?? My gt I had to change every 15-20 minutes.

Thanks
Dave Mac

Yeah..Lance and Mike are dialed. Mike lived out here for tons of years, he beat me quite routinely for a looooong time..haha.

Losi's tech support is why I try to get everyone driving a TL car!

Your shocks should stay good for a loooong time. Much longer than an hour, that's for sure.

speaking of shocks. when you guys say that you rebuild your shocks after every round or every race day, what exactly are you doing? are you just opening them up and rebleeding or are you actually taking them apart and replacing parts? let me know guys.

just relube & bleed them. I only relube my shocks for big races before 1st qualifier & for the main. For club races, i only put new oil in, if i feel a lot of air in them, if no air or just a little air, I just run them. I do clean the outside of the shock after every run though.

For club racing.......new oil in all 4 once a week.
For Big Races.......new oil in all 4 after every qual and main.

For club races..whenever they start to feel messed up..haha.

For big races, usually re-filled every day.

Most of the time, it's just re-bleeding..but every once in a while you gotta change the cartridge.

hairy dangler motorsports - Nowhere at the moment..just wrenching on R/C stuff. Give him a call tomorrow morning, I'm sure he'd like to hear from you.

Troy - Funny!

I live at home..I'm not in a dorm yet. I went out to ASU to visit a friend of mine in his dorm for the weekend and then came home.

When I do leave for a big school (fall of '06) it will all stay here and I'll travel to where my dad is.
