Really could use a set-up for the ofna hyper pro. Just got it used and I am rebuilding the entire car. Any help would be appreciated. Is there any sites that have the pro set-ups on it like losi and them do.

Aaron

I've noticed the the chassis on the AD2 seems to "cup" more than the old chassis. I had about a month of racing before I noticed it. I changed the chassis and it was cupped again after 2 race days.

It seems to be bending right at the first set of motor mount holes.

Are you guys having this problem. How much bending is ok ? It's got to throw off the anti squat????

Default need more droop!

Hey Aaron,

Longtime lurker, firsttime poster...

My X1CR doesn't seem to be able to give me enough droop.

At the rear, I'm measuring this vertically from the centerline of the hingepin that goes through the toe block, to the centerline of the hingepin that goes through the hub. the maximum droop I can get is about 16mm.

Even with the shocks removed and the droop screws backed out so the arm touches the chassis, all I can get is about 22mm.

I've got friends with XB8s and 777s that can easily get 30mm droop without bottoming out the shock pistons.

The front is pretty much the same story. I'm finding the car gets very bouncy, especially the rear, running over small bumps at speed or under brakes.

I am new to 1/8 buggies so maybe I'm missing something obvious, please let me know what you think.

Thanks.

EDIT: I ground away at all four downstop tabs on the chassis leaving just enough length on them for the droop screws. got about 8-10mm more droop front and rear with this. spent the afternoon at my local track and the car is much much better. it's much more stable und brakes, turns better, rear has more traction when accelerating.

sorry, questions answered in Jammin X-1 thread... All I had to do was do a little reading. Probably would have helped if I knew A dub read/posted in that thread...

Aaron what is the difference between the TRI 34033 and TK 5009 front pivot blocks? I was thinking that the TK 5009 would work with the BK2 and MF2? Also where can you get different size shock limiters?

Default Shock Dyno

I know that you have a full time mechanic. How much does he use the shock dyno, and has he seen a difference since he started using it?
