Caps all look good to me. The motor is basically brand new. Yesterday was only the second race day. Just wondered any opinions. I'll take it apart and cut the comm, clean the motor. Just check everything over.

Could be that the brushes are arcing really badly. Like casper said, is it doing the same thing with a different motor?

You may want to check into some TDK ferrite magnets.

Haven't tried another motor yet. Have to look at the caps and see if they are all touching well enough. Thanks guys.

aaron, at the track i run my AD2 at i could use more on power steering, what would be the best way to get this? I have been running the kit setup with 56 pistons and 30wt up front. I tried 'The Dirt' setup but that had really bad push for my track. i was thinking about adding a little anti-squat, is this a good idea or is their some thing better to do?

thanks

Try long arm in the rear, and/or the middle hole in the rear hubs. This will help make the transition from turning to the killer AD2 traction smoother.

You can add anti-squat as well. I'd try one degree more for a total of 3, which is what we ran on the old truck.

Already running long arms and the middle hole on the hubs.

Do you happen to know what size washer i should use to get 3 deg. of anti-squat? What will a .01 washer do?

I think .010 washer will be one-half degree..that should give you more on-power regardless.

Adam is running in Columbus this weekend and talked about having problems with steering..I'll let you know how he fixes his.
