From what I've read, if you're not an experianced engine tuner, the middle needle should be left alone. And I'm with Casper in the only time I tune a cold motor is when it won't start. And that's usually only after the motor has been taken apart for cleaning/maintenance. Generally if an engine won't start and nothing has been changed with the motor, it's due to bad glow plug or igniter not fully charged. Unless there's been an extreme temperature change or humidity conditions.

I would not worry too much. All the parts are going into kits for right now. They are starting to release some parts on the Horizon web site but I would give them another week or two before the parts start flooding in.

Default Exhaust length tuning for mafia....

What up Dub..more unsolicted advice from Tony the engineer....sorry to jump in kinda late.

Think of it like a sound wave travelling thru your exhaust - with each cycle of the engine a sort of sound pulse is first sent thru the exhaust, hits the end of the pipe, and then bounces back the opposite direction, towards the motor. At low Rpm's the wavelength being sent out is longer and at high rpm's it is shorter.

When these wavelengths, or some multiple number of the wavelengths, is the same length as your exhaust, the waves travelling back and forth resonate with each other, and this is where we hear the characteristic 2-stroke "power band", when your engine is really going BRAAAAHHHH!!! By changing the length of the exhaust you are actually altering the wavelength, and thus the rpm, at which the exhaust will resonate,

thus,
longer pipe = longer resonant wavelength = better low-rpm power band.

likewise,
shorter pipe = shorter resonant wavelength = better high-rpm powerband.

Of course this is simplified, but I think that is basically what is going on.

I wish I had a basement to get high on nitro in! Just make sure you put some card board down when you start your car indoors as the oils that come out the pipe are a pain to clean up!
