I have some on order and I should be getting the set in a week or so. I will let you know what I think when I get them and have a chance to play with them some.

Gabe - Years of listening to people talk into a microphone at races..some good, some not so good. If I can make a boring race exciting, then an exciting race will knock everyone's socks off.

JP! - The usual..racin' gas, going to school, getting into trouble. I can't wait for this semester to end, we get a month off.

Ready for Rosarito again?

Dave, I don't think the piston would actually hit the plug. But it may make how the combustion takes place different from how it was designed to run. Maybe lower compression just a touch. Don't you like the os plugs? Tell ya the truth, I run the tower hobbies plugs. Same as the os, but cheaper. They last just fine for me.

Actually a longer plug will increase compression since you take away volume. You will definately need to retune the engine. another trick is to run double brass washers to take up the length.

Man I'm such a moron. I know it increases compression. Think one thing say another.... anyhow.

AW, what does a schotky diode do on an electric motor? I just thought my motor was dead, but it ended up the diode was cracked.

The diode helps with the electric motor's brake function. It will help to keep the speedo cooler when lots of brakes are used. This is why you will see multiple diodes on tight track layouts at times on pro cars. Some speedo's require them others do not. They are NOT to be used with reversing speedo's as diodes only allow the flow of electricity one way and will explode if you put them on the wrong way.

When I was shopping in Japan, I bought some diods....Imagine or find a standard pencil....the barrel or diod itself is bigger around than the eraser! They are massive! I bought 6 of them.
