Man the happened with roar with the Losi 2.0 t body And look where that went... Nowhere. Some people just don't like change and well change is constant. It's pretty hard to fight with a huge company like proline and I doubt they would release a product that will be as widespread as this if you can't use it. Just relax.

i wish roar would disappear and a more thoughtful and logical race sactioning body to ammend and make rules....

let racers purchase and run what they want.

It's about time for ROAR to go the way of the dinosaur. The time is fast approaching where they will have zero impact on this hobby/sport. Take for instance the RC Pro Series. Carlton would never establish such a group of useless BS rules as ROAR has because he knows they aren't needed. If only we could get a national sanctioning body to think that way.

All in favor of ROAR going away...

Rules like this should be voted on by us, the people that pay for ROAR memberships.

It is a simple thing to do. Send out a couple emails letting us know of the vote, with dates that our vote has to be complete. Have a secure login system where we log in with our Roar number and say our zip code. Give us the new rule, with a basic English explanation and an approve or deny button. The tech to do this is already available, and honestly should be done with rules and new officials. Its not that hard to do.

Yeah, but then ROAR wouldn't get to have fun acting tough. They act like they are supreme beings and have rule over everything.

No sign yet of any RC8 Bulldog bodies IN STOCK. Hopefully this week sometime. I also heard JConcepts is going to have a "Punisher" buggy version
coming up.

I like the new truggy bodies, but ones for buggies are pretty ugly.

Despite how many people like them or not is irrelevant. The point is ROAR should not make decision on a hobby based on the looks or a product. Everyone say realistic hahahahaha its funny. Take a buggy or truggy from 3 years ago and find me a real buggy or truggy that it resembles. I think that this particular rule is a force of authority. Take out the looks part - in what aspect of this hobby do the bodies impact. Someone mentioned new people in the hobby, first of all 8 out of 10 want to get in to 8ff racing and see how much money we sink into these, they back out. Second like all the millions and millions aftermarket parts out there, do we have to buy them to be competitive? NO. Just like the bodies, you do not have to buy it. It dont make you faster, it dont give you an edge. all it do is add personality to your car. We can sit here and compare these bodies 400000000000000000000 times but it sill comes down to opinion. THERE IS NOT CAR OR TRUCK IN THE SAME CLASS THAT LOOK LIKE THESE IN REAL LIFE. So ROAR should stop trying to bring this point up time after time. They have not enforced this body rule in 15 years and now they want to start - it make no sense.

Mugen in two weeks ! Guess I will have to get one for me MBX6 even if it is kinda "truckish"
Up here in Canada we don`t have Roar dictating such a rule at our Glorcs races and I know they wouldn`t like the trick body I made for my 8 a couple years ago !
