I actually do like it. I mean all other buggy bodies basically share the same design. I like the new styling of this body and if it makes any performance difference that's even better. So yeah I like it lol.

The losi 8ight-t 2.0/j concepts punisher in my opionion kinda ruined the truggy bodys. Evryones truggy looks the same and you cant really tell hwat truggy it is by looking at the signature manufacter body. With the exception of ryan lutz it looks like all the pro are running a low profile truggy body. When i look at a truggy i want to know who its made by by the way the body's individual style is.

the newer body styles provide more downforce, so there is a performance factor involved.......but yes, I do agree with what you say, however I run a sperm body on my K truck

I feel the exact opposite. I feel the cab forward bodies have made truggies look the way they always should have. Not to mention the performance improvement that they provide. If companies want people to know which truggy is theirs, they should make their own cab forward body. The new style is here to stay.

That remains to be determined.

Whats sad is the R/C Body mfg have the ability and talent to create something much better.

Wonder why they even put a cab on them. You could have performance gain with pit stops if it was just a clean opening to access the fuel tank unobstructed. Open Cockpit version someone?

This is what we should be creating for 1:8th Buggy.

There definitely is a performance gain. Ty Tessman was picking up a couple tenths per laps. And in racing that is huge. In ten laps thats over 1 sec faster just in a body change. Look at Silver State, Cavalieri won in buggy by 1.4 seconds. So if he didn't have that body, there is a chance he would not of won. Yes an average racer may not get as much of a gain, but even if you get half of what the pros are getting that is huge. Other then different tires, I can't think of any setup change that would pick you up that much speed.

You definitely get more air to the motor since it sticks out, which means you can run slightly leaner settings

Does no one else see the the shocks and shock tower? It appears they disturb any air that would make its way to the front of the body.

This body might create a very minimal amount of "down-force" in the middle of the strait, when you cars is traveling 45mph. I'll stick with my stock bodies, at least the don't look like MACK trucks....yet

according to the guys that have run them they can shave up to a second off there lap times which is a ton when your trying to shave tenths at the top levels. If a banana strapped to the car would shave a second it would be on there. I don't care what it looks like.
