are you using a lipo as a receiver pack? from what i seen from other people they set the lipo charger at the voltage, the lipo has like 2s they would chage it at 2 amps i think. and they plug , the balancer up and charge it at the same time.

I run the losi lipo: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ck-74V-2000mAh with the losi regulator: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...lator-w-Switch to regulate the 7.2 v battery down to 6v so I dont burn up my receiver and servos.

I connect the charger directly to the power lead on the battery. I then charge at 1C (for the 2000mah battery, charge at 2 amps). Once charged, I connect the fully charged battery to the balancer and it will balance it if needed.

Your balancer will work as a "Charge-Through" balancer where you connect it to the charger and the other lead to the battery, but I could never get mine to work that way. So, I just balance my lipos before and/or after I charge them.
Hope that helps...

Just be sure to find out if your receiver can handle the higher voltage... some will; some won't.
