Default Kindof a weird question but yea

I was wondering if anyone know of a good rubber dust cover...I am looking to go lipo and will have a charging port so I don't have to take the battery out each time but I looking for something to stick the balancing tab through but I could still cover it up during racing and just pull the tab back when I charge and plug my balancer in

any ideas?

thanks,
Jayson

Balancing is not needed at every charge, especially for rx packs that only operate servos. I usually balance charge before I go to a race, and top them off without balancing while im there. In fact my proteks dont even have a balance plug.

If you still want the balance plug to stick out and want a dust cover. Just take a piece of fuel tubing, splice it, and that should work, would work really well if your balance plug was the kind with the clip (thunder power i believe)

I know guys who are running 2 cell receiver packs and made the balancer connection to the 3rd wire of the futaba receiver connector (White) which is on the powercable. They made their own charging cable and made connections from it to the balancer plug of the charger.

That idea must be a standard for LiPo/LiFe receiver packs !

If it's the Protek pack I think it is it is not a Thunder Power balance plug it is a Align style plug.

Here is a link to the I am thinking about. Even if it is not the same pack check to see if the plug is the same as the one pictured and you have answer.
