Newbie needs help!!!!!

I just upgraded from a zxmb-8 buggy to a slightly used Kyosho MP 7.5 Kanai. I have been to the local track with my Z buggy before but i want the Kyosho to be a race buggy. What mods do i need to make to have a more efficient race buggy?

I would check out this thread. It is an older platform but I am sure with a few new parts you can get it race ready.

Bearings, Servos, Plastics etc.

Alot depends on the Condition on the car.. but a decent servo and engine and new bearings ect.. will be my 1st plans of attack with any used car. Then, smaller things that maybe need replacing..

Did you have the Pro Z buggy? If so, you didn't upgrade, you downgraded.

Put your money in fuel and tires. Practice as much as you can until you can afford a 'better' car. Practice is more important than ANY hop up part.
