I got this truggy, must be a 1.0?

The problem is that there is a bit too much slop at the front but only on the left wheel. It might be due to steering post assembly but I'm not sure. Are there any upgrades to fix that? Is the 2.0 steering assembly the same?

Any must have upgrades that the 2.0 has? Maybe the chassis which is longer on the 2.0 but do I also need longer center CVDs?

I run brushless in it but would rather ask here.

they seem to drive better with a little slop....lol.......but....for tightening up the steering the best thing is the 2.0 Ackerman with the pressed bushings...then just make shure everything it snug and good bearings, you will never get it all out.......if you get the longer chassis you will need a rear center cvd shaft, it is longer, 2.0 radio tray is better........shimable rear diff case is nice.......especially for a truggy......

Thanks, I'll get the 2.0 steering. I currently have a Traxxas 2075 servo in it, but a DS1015 is on it's way.

The electric conversion uses a different radio box so I'll keep that.

yup the 2.0 ackerman steering piece, is the way to go if you dont want to get the 2.0 t chassis you, can get the 2+wheel hubs thats what im doing.

the 2 screws that hold the ackerman I use a drop of CA on those screws, I just found that they do loosen up a bit on the 1.0

what do the wheel hubs have to do with the chassis ?

2mm on the wheel hexes Vs 15mm on the chassis....i dont see where your going with this ?

The chassis and wheel hubs are totally different things. The +2mm wheel hubs only give you more track width.

yea i know that i was just saying, if you want to go to a cheaper route
and want a little better handling. on your 1.0 t i would, get the +2 wheel hubs

well it has to make somewhat of a, diffrence in your handling i mean your wheelbase will be longer. i ordered a pair to try them out
