Default RB Concepts Rally 9

Finally got to run this mill at a weekend race. I have put abit over half a gallon of Sidewinder Worlds 30% through it. Break in has been easy with this engine going by the heat cycle method. Ran rich this past weekend at around 190-200 temps. It had plenty of power and alot of snap off the bottom end for Hotbodies D8T. I set it to idle for a good amount of time so refueling is no issue at all. You can let it sit for a good 30sec and just punch it and it will pull clean from bottom to top. This thing still isnt fully broke in yet and I am thoroughly impressed with the engine so far. I will be running this engine at the RC Pro Series Finals and feel really confident in it!!!

Thanks for the update... This thing is pretty much a 5 port WS9 with the lower model carb and non-L2G head.

Yes the carb has the old school idle set screw on bottom. I am glad it doesnt have the L2G head also luckily. From the factory it is set up with a turbo head, but I swapped out to the standard head. I was using the Trinity Big Boy pipe and running 5min qualifiers at those settings I was getting good run times. Had just abit over half a tank left once it was done.

Don't you have a killer 9 too? How do the two motors compare?

Not any longer. I sold the Killer 9 brand new, you were interested but decided to get it brand new from A Main. I was trying to pick up a helmet but it didnt happen that way.

In the D8T this engine runs good....in a buggy probably even faster...so would need to tone it down abit I bet.

Dont know about others, but I am loving it.
I get 8 plus minutes on a conservative tune...and it
only has like 1.5gals on it. Once it breaks in more,
I think its gonna more run time. Power is very nice and
smooth. Truggy has no issues getting around with
this mill.

Finally got some runtime tuning with the Rally 9.
Very nice smooth engine and a whole lot of run time.
In my Hotbodies D8T 15.30min of run time from one
tank. 7mm restrictor, Werks 2013, and Sidewinders World 30%.
Plenty of power and not lacking anywhere.
