tire comparison

Looking for educated opinions please.
Running on hard packed clay with light dust. (not blue grooved)
Concidering aka cityblocks or proline calibers.
I've ran jconcepts crowbow combos and vp-pro striker cutoff combos but am wondering if there's a better choice. I've also heard people are happy with jconcepts subcultures under similar conditions as well as vp-pro axmen.
Thanks in advance

Either one of those tires will be great on any surface. The Caliber is pro-lines answer to the aka cityblock.

Both the AKA Cityblocks and Proline Calibers will work awesome on those conditions. In buggy I did like the Calibers over the Cityblocks in those conditions even though I am an AKA fan. I haven't run Jconcepts Subcultures but I have heard they are awesome tires as well. I am sure out of those three what ever one you get will work awesome.

Are you running around VMP and/or Phil Hurd/SCORE down there?

M3 Calibers will work most of the time in buggy and have a bit more forward bite than Cityblocks.

Subcultures in blue should work nicely as the dust begins to go away as long as the hardpack base is there.

If there' even the lightest of dust I would go with Callibers over Cityblocks. I had a set of cityblocks on in a 20min main, it was like piloting a ferry. No grip or no brakes. How I managed 7th out of 10 is beyond me, I was easily 8 seconds slower per lap.

And it was hardpacked clay with light dust, might as well have been ice. :D

I personally like the Sub-Cs. Three stage tire w/ a small pin to get through the dust. Plus they last a long time.
