You will drive yourself made fighting Losi slop. The strange thing about Losi and its slop is its fast. It still bugs me with all the slop.

Default Try HB D8

They are all black and look badass. Plus the nuts are knurled on the back and never come loose. Get the D8T for 2mm offset. You can usually find them cheap on ebay. I think last time I paid $8 shipped for hubs/pins/nuts.

A losi drives much better after the first 2 gallons. It drives my friends crazy to see all the slop in my Losi buggy but all i can say is it drives GREAT.

once you upgrade the hubs, your better off buying all the 808 cvd's, a-arms, bulkheads, chassis, diffs, shocks, shock towers, steering rack, rock guards, radio tray, fuel tank, steering knuckles, bearings, body mounts and even the body.

or, you could just buy an 808?

Losi seems to have a idea that a RC model does not have to be so exact. That is why they have so much slop in all there cars.
On a side note the Xray does look alot like the Losi so why should I pay more for extra parts and buy online just for the Xray name? Hmmm

If there is no slop at all, it doesn't take more than a tiny amount of dust to make the suspension parts bind.

In onroad racing you can afford to be a lot more precise, not so much in offroad. That's my take on it anyway.

there is so much slop because they use cheap plastic and an excuse for it.
on a side note you pay more for an xray because its twice the quality.

Why do you want to get rid of the slop?
