hey guys i am seriously considering a 5b my main questions are how much space do you need to run it? + how intensive is the build?

Really any space that is good for your 1/8th will be fine for the 5B. RC tracks if they are designed for 1/8th might be a bit small. But bashing areas really only need about the same space as 1/8th.

ok thanks i am not sure if i have to space needed to suite the 5b thanks again

You can drive it at your local 1/8 scale track if they'll let you. 5B's tear up tracks so make sure you check with the track before hand. It took me about a week to build mine. But at the time I was working 8- 10 hours a day and my two boys were still ankle bitters.

They make a kit version now? If thats the case buy some screws from tonys screws if he sells them(stock screws are junk). Normal 1/8 tracks are too small for the 5 & all the racers will hate you,5b & T destroy jumps & dig huge trenches. Large 1/8 tracks are ok but a open field that size is fun. Just be aware if your used to 1/8 the physics on a 5 are not the same.
