Mugen or Losi. But if you can't win with a Zcar, you won't win with one of the others. The Zcar is a very good buggy.

Yeah, do you have the Pro Kit? The Z Car Pro is a great buggy, should be competitive with it

Slasher man, if you are looking for a new buggy you could do a search and you would see what the differences are between the older and newer buggies. If I were you I would pick the buggy that I could get the most real world help with. Forums are great, don't get me wrong, but it is really nice when you can get help at the track with your car. All of the newer gen buggies are competitive. Pick one you can get parts for and help with locally.

couldnt of said that any better. I had the same problem and i went with the d8. Also if you can try and drive all of them. i drove 2 out of the 3 i was intrested in and that made a big difference in my choice. Just do what will make you happy and what you think the right car is. Also i drove both the d8 and the losi and i liked the d8 more imo.

Thats what my cousin did, he bought the RTR, then bought him a pro kit. Now he uses the RTR as a spare parts/practice buggy

Last I saw Hobbypeople.net had the pro kit for 200 bucks man, you can't beat that
