AKA questions
 

i know there is an AKA thread and im sure these questions have been asked there but i dont have time to read hundreds of pages. so 2 quick questions...

#1 for those of you that cut old tires off, or bake them off, or what have you, how many times do you guys RE-use aka foams. i have a set of tires that this is the 3rd time the foams have been placed in them and the foams still feel great! AND

#2 and idea why AKA hasnt made any premounts with spoked rims? or if there is any talk that they might?

1st: I reuse my AKA foams as much as I can. They seem to get better and better the more times you re-use them. I have put out 3 sets of tires on one pair of foams and they are still going strong. Many people has also said the more you use them, the better they seem to get.

2nd: I have not heard of anything coming, but that doesn't me it's not going to happen. Someone else here may no for sure.

It may sound wrong but aka foams get better with age. I just dont like how dense they are when new. If you need spokes go jconcepts. Pro-lines can be weak(only seen others, not my own) although i have never had issues with the few pl spokes iv had

I've been using AKA foams since they came out, and the set I just mounted up is in its 7th set of tires. Foams feel great! If you want spoked rims then go JC, but I have had them crack before. All depends on what works for you!
