Ok. The Venom LiPo does fit...What I'm doing is swapping the batt and Rx commpartments. Some may say it'll throw balance off. I dunno, I'd hafta see concrete evidence, actual weights of the Rx and all the wires vs the LiPo. If worse comes to worse, one could always place some lead weight under the Rx. Now, the main reason I'm doing this is that a fellow racer who once used the same Tx system as I was having bad glitching problems. He attributed it to the Rx being immediately next to the engine and over heating. In due time he picked up a new, different mfr Tx system. The secondary reason for doing this is so I don't have to do any funky dremeling. One last thought, doing it this way also prevents undue stress on the throttle servo wires as it can now go directly into the slot in the front compartment, rather than in the stock ,rear, compartment. Now, I did have to remove the shrink wrap but all in all I'm happy with this set up. I'm in the process of packing up for MotoRama...I'll try and get pics up sometime over the w/end and report back if I experience any problems.
Andy and others, thx for posting. I'll consider your advice as well in the future, should any issues arise with how I've set this up.

Hey supra did you have to dremel any on the lid, where the lip slides under to hold it in place? Seams like the batt is to tall.

Thanks...

For mine I did not have to do that. I dremeled the inside box on all four sides and in the corners to clearance it abit. Eyed up the balance plug and put a hole on the side. The two bolts that secure the lid have plenty of strength to hold the cover down by itself so if the lip that slides under the servo mount needs to be cut down, I dont see it being an issue.
