I have yet to see someone with a store-bought OD car.

Default hmmmm

The only problem I have with the odonnell buggy is that it's a copy of the kyosho 777. That's an old car, a good car, but it's kinda cutting corners to let tebo just help copy a kyosho buggy. I think Steve OD is better than that. I raced a 777 for years and recently I did a complete rebuild on an odonnell buggy and the car is the same. Same diff cases, same geometry, same hubs, caster blocks, same engine mounts, same flywheel, it even had trouble lining up the spur and clutchbell, the short distance on the engine mount and the spur makes the clutchbell ride too far foreward on the spur. Just like the 777. I will admit they made some improvements and when I drove his buggy it drove good, but why make the same stuff as another company. It needs a narrow chassis, lighter diffs, and ring and pinion gears without spiral cuts, those can cause problems on that car. The new car should have been all new and more original. On the positive, it drove just like a 777....

IMO every company copies another in some way. they all want what works and if they didnt copy some pieces then there would only be one good car. like the new caster electric buggy looks just like a mugen buggy.

No I don't believe that at all sir, if that were true every car would be the same and I can tell u first hand that an 801x/mp9/mbx6 and 8 2.0 are completly different when it comes to build/geometry and most of all on track feeling. Look at the new serpent buggy and Durango buggy those are totalLy thinking out of the box buggies designs. Now ur right somethings are simalar like the 808 n the losi 8 but it's only 2 cars that are slighty simalar, don't drag the 15 other designs into the copycat subject. Now if u are saying every car is the same because they all have 4 wheels and an engine u are right but I don't see that changing to soon in 4 wheel drive nitro buggy class.
