No Werks B5 on that list?

Team_Orange 02-15-2010 03:14 PM

Gotta have the werks B5 on the list that motor is just awsome. Great power and fuel mileage

Matt Piva 02-15-2010 03:53 PM

How bout the Alpha engines that just won the pre-worlds lol I'd say the p5 is the best on that list.

hdcruzer 02-15-2010 04:07 PM

I have to agree Werks B5 and B3 both need to be on your list. Both are killer motors.

dreaux 02-15-2010 04:49 PM

it is not a must see. Half the engines don't have power and rpm output.

and no b5???

JAMMINKRAZY 02-15-2010 04:57 PM

I have to agree, there's MANY great sub $250 engines that aren't on that list!

It's not really a buying guide either, more of a list. For it to be a buying guide you would actually have to test every engine on the list, provide a review of each, and some pros/cons of each engine. That list doesn't really help you decide which engine is for you because it really doesn't provide you with any information. I assume you are just getting your stats from the manufacturer's ratings, which really mean nothing at all. It is a decent list of engines, but not really a buying guide.

Werks B3 and B5 added we missed the Werks.. sorry :(

madweazl 02-15-2010 06:38 PM

So where is the info? I see a generic description but there isnt any info on actual performance. Anyone can list manufacturer specs but they dont amount to squat.

Davidka 02-15-2010 07:20 PM

I am not aware of a buyer's guide that provided test data for a whole list of products. Comparison reviews of a couple but never a long list.

DOMIT 02-15-2010 07:32 PM

You are still missing the Alpha Plus line with 3 killer engines under $210... including the one that just won the Pre-Worlds.

Sounds like a niche...

Wow, the people on this forum are pathetic. MyRCBox has outlined some motors for beginners to start off with and all I am seeing is bit**** and complaining about how a motor is not there or there is not enough information. It is a buyers guide, not a detailed review. Thank you Sylvain for posting this information.

to be honest with you i hadvt seen anybody ,run the werks engine at the track i run at and people i know also. i dont think its a bad list though.

You need to add the Axe Rossi Mamba X2 one of the best Motors for the price TONS of power and we get like 11-12 min run time with it. I think Axe Rossi will make a come back in the next year are so now that they have some guys in the US helping guys tune and get the most they can out of these motors. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ff-Road-Engine

O and GREAT List i think you will help lots of people with it Keep up the GOOD WORK.
