Microcontacts would be another good choice for damp hardpack....possibly Square Armor depending on how damp....and if the tires are collecting dirt.

MNRC Round 6 - Lake Superior Radio Control Car Club - Duluth MN

Sweep drivers Allec and Caden race into the A-main with their Sweep Tire equipped Team Associated Vehicles. Allec ran microcontacts in yellow compound on his RC8B3.1 and placed 9th in the A-main Pro Class. Caden ran Defenders in yellow on his RC8T3 and placed 7th in the A-main Pro Class. Allec also finished 1st in the Gas Truck pro class. Thank you Sweep...the tires were awesome and the tire wear, even with the yellow compound, is very impressive.

Used them on a really high bite clay track, the have great grip but wear out quick, not great for a 45 min nitro main. Great for eBUggys

I would consider Pixels and Microcontacts. I haven't raced there but these would be my top choices. I think Cell Block in the right compound may work also...freeing up the car. Look at what the fast guys are running for tread and choose a matching Sweep product for starters...maybe it is a Sweep tire already

I have on my E-Buggy there pretty good i used the Blue compound with AKA inserts i would use the Blue Sweep inserts in them. All though i wore though the center pins fast . For some reason so i cut them off and have pins on the side and bars in the middle if its not to dusty or grooved they are great with the pins in the center you could run them in more dust.

Not grabby at all and go over ruts well.

Gridirons have pretty large lugs...suprising that is what they run. Maybe defenders would work. I would still try microcontacts....visually looking at the surface on youtube etc... it would certainly be a tire I would consider. I would think the surface would be pretty clean under the roof....so smaller pin.
