you can either ask for "the best buggy" or a budget buggy for $215, not both!

the d8 is really the cheapest you can get.

off the wall expensive would be kyosho, losi, xray.

Cheaper but better would be mugen/AE

but still a little over 500$$$

heres on also i highly recommend this buggy, i run jammin right now but i have driven a few of these and they are worth every penny. the reason they are so cheap is because hobbypeople is trying to get rid of them but they normal cost 500+...

i would remmend the d8 and i run losis. than you will have, prently of money left to get good ,electrics and engine etc.

now yes you can buy a used losi eight, on ebay or rctech the only problem is that when you, buy one used. your gone to have to, replace the gears etc. i only buy a used buggy or truggy, from a racer that i know takes care of his stuff.

By far the most durable buggy I have ever owned!!!
It is also very nimble but stable at the same time.
There are so many different tuning options you can set it up to run like a losi or like a more traditional style buggy, say a MBX5.

Although it is priced at $200 this buggy should be in the $500 range easily!
It comes with numerous options that most of the top end buggies dont have standard!

The fit and finish on the parts is on par with any other kit I have seen/assembled.

The only thing I dislike about the kit is the stock body. This is fairly thin but still lasted me a complete race season. You can swap the stock body out for a low profile D8 body or an RC8 body with no major mod's. If you want to go with a low profile shell you will need to replace the stock airfilter with one like the losi 8ight, proline, etc... any low profile filter will work.

If you can find one in your area check it out real close you will be amazed at how well this car drives, its construction, as well as the quality of the parts!!! Best two bills I have ever spent on a buggy!!!
