Some will say you can run the receiver unregulated but futaba will day no. I just starts using a KO eurus radio and it is perfect. The only complaint I can find is the receivers are not marked for polarity, plug it in wrong and poof you let the magic smoke out. The only thing that stopped me from getting a 4pk was the unregulated lipo issue. The 4pk is a great radio as well.

4pk with spectrum = Not possible...there's no module to swap out.

Have you tried a first generation spektrum receiver with your dx3r, it should slow down the frame rate

i wont run lipo unless i run hv servos. i wont deal with the regulator, one its another thing to go wrong and two there are to many wires to fit in a tiny box. my nimh does just fine. ive ran 2 6 min qual, a 20 min main. and practice on and off for two hours(NOT sayin i ran full two hours). but i usually charge it right before my main, does good for me

Im with you still use nimh but I run futaba if Futaba would get off their ass and make a micro lipo compatible receiver people would stay. I know many guys off this forum that run unregulated on futaba maybe Ill give it a shot.

We've run 7.4v unregulated lipo with KO since day one.
