Default RC8B gear grease?

Just building my RC8B now and noticed that the instructions do not specify any black grease on the diff housing/output shaft gears. does anyone out there put some grease on these? I'm talking about the large gear on the diff housing and the smaller gear that outputs to the centre diff.

Thanks.

I always used the Black grease on the Ring and Pinon. It help quite the drivetrain down a but, and i think it helps with wear slightly.

I have been using this for a couple years now with great results. Helps the diff gears last.

Eureka Lube from TKO. I have used 1 tube for over a year, and take the diffs out after every other race weekend, little bit goes a long way, also prevents the gear's teeth from rusting if you blast the car with water hose.

Default Wheel bearing grease

Just go to lowes and get any brand of wheel bearing grease. It is thick and really keeps those gears happy. No need for any special type. I use lubrimatic I think it's called, it's blue and comes in a nice sized paper jar with plastic lid...

You can buy a tub of Mobil 1 Red Grease for the same price at any auto store. Thats what I did. I used to by the 8.99 Hudy Graphite Grease.
