Default Let's see how fast you really are...

This is a fun test, especially for those of us that insist on having that .06 second servo. Lets see how many of us can even beat the time of an RTR servo on a consistent basis. I think I'm going back to Futaba S128s - my best time was .249 and I probably averaged close to .300 with 10 tries

I got 461 milleseconds but I can feel the difference between .06 and .12 servos (60 and 120 milleseconds).

229ms is my best so far...

imo, you can slice the time in two chunks; the time it takes for you to react and the time it takes the servo to move once you react. although you're SOL about your reaction, at least the total time is cut down by the fast servo .

Out of 10 times, I was between 280ms and 320ms had 1 lower and 1 higher, but that was around the norm for me. I dont run the fastest servos on my rides, just dependable ones.

best of 281. worst of 327. Out of 10 tries the rest were in between. But while racing I know when I'm going to turn the wheel. LOL. That test is hard.

i got 146, 170, 190 as my best..

but if that was not random and you could time it as you do in racing I could get much better I am positive. In racing it's all timing, not real sure if that even makes sense..lol

When i was Big In Drag Racing we did test like this all the time to keep you sharp on the Light. Its random to keep it just your reaction and not timing it out.

260 was my best but average was between 300-400 out of about 20 trys.

i did it 15 more times and got a 128 and a 205 and the rest was around 300-400 again.

the delay between your finger pressing the triger, the radio calculate and send the insrtruction to the receiver, the receiver translate the command and send the instruction to the servo, adds to a considerable delay, can we see a diference between 0.12 and .06 when a direct in instruction is place...NO, can we tell the diference when the servo is at end of the chain, I can, it also dependes on the radio equipment you are using, with the M11X I dought it, Futaba FASST I can tell the diference, with the DX3R I can, no matter if 5.5 or 11 resolution. (the M11X is the fastest system on the market almost double of dsm2)
