+1 Scott, We have been running the system for two years and it is faster then any other system out there and any problem we have ever had was attributed two three things. Bad switches, bad cell in the batt and voltage regulators for lipo pack. We have been running straight lipo for almost two years. Also what's nice is the light Garrett mentioned when you have a voltage drop or bad connections during you run the color of the light will change accordingly to the loss of voltage. So you will have a heads up that you have a problem.

If you scroll to the bottom of the main page it lists the comparisons between the FASST and the DSM and DSM2 comparisons to the XtremeLink system. But that is the air comparison. I will see if i can get some specs from them for you for the surface.

Default specs

This is directly from my email from Scott. The specs are the same as the aircraft systems. The big difference is the two way communication between the transmitter and receiver. We also have a true 16 bits of resolution or 65,536 servo steps. This make the system much smoother.

Default Specs

I've been running mine for several months with no issues.

On the comparison chart, the surface receivers work down to 2.0volts not 3.5volts as shown in the chart.

It uses PPM modulation on the Futaba. I've compared it to FASST and spektrum DSM pro. (not DSM2) Its noticeably quicker and more responsive when compared to the DSM pro. I can't notice a difference between FASST and XPS, they are both extremely responsive with no noticeable lag.

I like the fact that it can handle 120 separate channels simultaneously compared to 39 from spektrum.
