Integy makes a nice set of speed bits, I use them alot with my Milwaukee M12 driver, saves alot of time and cramping.

That is a heck of a Birthday present! And nice choice on the Mugen, as for a motor I really love the Werks B5 for only $199 you cant go wrong.

havent been updating as once i got started i watned to finish but here it is, first pic is the front and rear done, and the last is the shell as it sits. Got the M11x installed but i think the servos i got last year (been picking things up as i go along) are bad, the throttle sits and humms and twichs, i moved the wires around figured its glitchin off of something then i said, its 2.4ghz, nothing should be interfearing... emailed Hitec waiting for a reply but will get stronger servos anyways.

Have not figured out if im going to paint it or get an upgrade decal sheet. I like the one that came with it but enh i'm not into flames. I threw the tires on my Xray over stock pile of wheels looks good i think.

so will see, ether putting in a RB power plant or the Picco Evo3 for starters and then go from there. and i need a new starter box , my silver top offna has seen its last days, our atic eve's leaked and well, its toast.

You must have been a good boy to get that for a b/day
You might want to consider coating the CF edges with CA glue to help stop delamination
A PIS now that you got so far with the build but worth it in the long run.

my 7955s humm like crazy when the truck is sitting on its own, as soon as all pressure is off the servos, they are fine..

Most Digital servos will hummm a lot. There are constantly trying to find perfect center, so if you are experiencing that it shouldn't be a problem. If the servo is twitching then thats different and there may be something causing interference. If you are looking for new servo's I would recommend Hitec HS-7955TG. They work also and are Lipo friendly.

Yes they do hummmm. That's one of the reasons I like my ace servos. They don't hummmmmm near as much as my Hitec's did. Plus I thought they were just smoother.

Anyway, something you might want to think about. My front boot that goes on the front driveshaft would always pop off. Always. I bought another set and it still worked it's way off only to dangle around the shaft. I ended up replacing the front with heat shrink. The back was no problem. It never comes off.

Your build is looking good though.

If those are digi servos its normal, but if not, make sure you don't have your radio in HRS mode if it has it. It will fry analog servos. Learned that one the hard way.
