DROOP SETTINGS PLEASE
 
Could anyone tell me how to adjust my droop settings and what would be the best settings and how to figure out droop?:)

go to website for your car ...check team drivers droop and setup ..it will be agood starting point along with th ehudy guide ..you shold be good

X2 the Hudy manual will only confuse you if you dont know what's what.

that will help as the hudy set-up manual shows everything on X-ray cars....find the Offroad version and your good to go....start learning.:nod:

What are racers using for droop support blocks for truggys, buggie wheels ?

I measure the distance from the middle of the top and middle of the lower mount to get desired droop. I then unhook the shock at the top to ensure that the shocks arent being over extended.

You can go from there to get your desired effect. There is always a happy medium.

but dont the shocks only over extended, when you have hardly any droop.
i would think that if the droop screws are, touching the chassis it would prevent that right?

Well that is the reason I use the droop screws to get the right length.

am i the only one not understanding what your meaning? jw.


you say you set the droop then take the shocks off to make sure they are not over extending, but thats what the droop screws are for to make sure they dont over extend

I use this for droop, it's too tall for ride height unless you run your ride height at 40mm+
It works great for the droop though and is much cheaper than Hudy.

I guess I just like to double check things by pulling the shocks off and making sure I have to push down to get them on. I should have mentioned this, I usually do this when I'm trying a new setup.
