Default Jammin X2 vs Losi 8ight 2.0

Hi

I have to buy new cars for the upcomming season.

I ran jammin in the last two seasons, and now I am considering a switch to Losi 8ight. What is the big difference? besides the imperial screws

The Losi is just a better all around car. Lighter, faster, better handling, better jumping, better rough track handling. The Jammin car is an older design that has been proven, but the new losi design is getting copied because it works.

AGREED......kinda

I know the Jammin' is OLDER, HEAVIER...blah blah blah but I picked UP lap times by going to it. It really depends on your driving style. The handling and feel of a Jammin' to ME is better. JUST IMO but i went from a Losi 1.0 to a X2. I'll take my Jammin' over the Losi anyday but thats me! WITH that being said the Losi TECHNICALLY is better so in the hands of the right driver anyone can make it fast.

also check local parts supply, team support!

I run Losi as well. I love the car because it fits my style. I have friends who run the jammin who are equally as fast. You really should drive both before you you decide.

what pros are paid to run the car is irrelevant. either of those could make a nitro powered trashcan run fast.

The Jammin X2 is a very fast chassis and when you add the newer narrow tire wheel combinations it really carves up the track. The Losi 2.0 was faster in lap times for me but I found myself adding a lot of the Losi made hop ups to it to get the durability i wanted.

+1 i see the losi might be faster but it takes a good bit of hop ups to make it as durable as the jammin. but still i think its driver preference. i like the jammin more because its not much up keep. losi you have to work on them every work or youll be sorry on the weekend.

i cant comment on the jammin buggy i never driven that buggy, but i have driven a eight-1.0, buggy and still do... when i first drove, the eight on the track the thing i would remmend, to do is change the stock setup .and use a team driver setup i use the mike trute ,setup and love it not to aggresive .and rotates really, good in the rear... if you get a used eight-1.0, buggy i would remmend doing that ...

Who runs Jammin??? what you mean by that. you need to go back like couple years, most of these pro's are running jammin before they run losi....and Did you ask them why they run losi?

Best thing you can do is go to the track and see if one of the guys at the track will let you make a couple of runs around the track with there Losi 2.0 Buggy i have let guys drive my car just to see if they liked it and most of the guys did.
The Losi is EZer to get set ups for and you can go to any track in the US and find some guys with losi parts if you need to buy something.
