Foroni diffs
I just got 2 of this diffs (used) they seem to be in good condition, very similar to the Losi design, but withou the spring release for off power, my question is ( and I looked it up and googled the crap out of it) what lube am I supose to use? the Losi was "losi smart diff grease", but I actually used 90W real diff oil and worked alot better, as the losi grease had to be repacked every so often and silicone, kind defeated the smart diff porpuse, not to mention the 90 keept the diff 40 degrees cooler and all the gears always lubed. But the Fioroni does not seem to be a sealed diff. Any one familiar with them? (at $209.00 new a piece I starting to think they are.....)

sorry took 2 mins
Do not use any grease or oil except for the one included with your differential and available as a spare part (TRC-020). The differentials can be fully rebuilt and a full line of spare parts is available.

Rui, you can read about the diffs here:

The Fioroni diffs were designed, tested, and produced long before the Losi diffs, and so you are correct, the Losi diffs are similar in design, as are the Xray diffs for Xray cars. The Fioroni diffs do not require or use any gaskets, and unlike the plastic torsen diffs, they stay consistent over longer runs. The Fioroni diffs only use the grease supplied with the diff, so there is no oil fade either.
Any questions, email [email protected]

I always used the Fioroni grease. Amain sells it. The do work well. They are NOT universal!!! They are ramped so that is why there is a front and rear. You can move them around and change the "ramps", but if you buy or have a front and rear, just be warned not to mix them up. They are a tuning aid!!! Not a magic diff, they are sweet tho!!
Good Luck
