You're missing -

And these are "unique" (ironic, but for the sake of discussion) models:

2 models from Nanda Racing
2 models from Redcat Racing
Ishima
4 models made by Smartech
2 Models from Exceed
Robitronic
3 models from Team Magic
XTM Racing
2 models from Himoto Racing
MRC
Chinavasion SST Buggy
Zan Ma ZXMB-1
Team C Racing TC08
Piktor Racing

I'm sure to be missing another 20 or so that are coming out of China. There's some duplication in the list because many of them are coming from the same factories under different brands, but the current count stands at 54.

Not sure if we should count all of those Chinese brands. Some of them are just too junky (I can't put Xray and Redcat in the same list! lol) or they haven't been sold/supported by a major hobby distributor (if you can't get it at a hobby shop somewhere it shouldn't count), which might not be fair, since some of those cars might be big in Asia and we have just never heard about them here in North America.

I don't know if any other R/C segment has ever been so saturated as 1/8 nitro buggy. On the one hand it's fantastic for consumers because they have choice galore, and shows just how incredibly popular the hobby is, and remains saturated even through one of the worst recessions in recent memory. I think that we may very well be living in the golden age of nitro.

The only question I have is: how long can the market remain this saturated?
