We're talking about the truggy right?

The D8T will have more aggressive than the older MBX5T. With that said though the MBX5T is by far no slouch. Mine can still run with the new crop of truggys.

based on ready parts availability I would opt for the D8. I used to have one and it handled great, although I don't know if they still have driveshaft issues. The MBX5 is a solid car, great rig to start with as long as you have parts available to you, sucks to have an older car and get stuck with no parts when you need them

if you want a durable buggy go with mugen. i still havent seen enough D8's finish for me to go to them, i have yet to see a D8T finish and i have only seen a couple D8 buggies finish. almost everyone that got an D8 switched to mugen or losi after not finishing races. but the D8 looks like the best handling buggy out there. but i have heard that the updated version D8 is alot better but i just havent seen anyone run them yet. but i dont think you could go wrong with either.

The D8 is very durable. I worry about my motor before the buggy.

almost NONE. even diffs have little bit different cut however you can swap whole diffs between 5T and 6T. Just few plastic parts are the same but not many.
