Default V Spec replacement?

I did a search but didn't find anything.

I just got word that OS is not going to be making th very popular VZB V Spec engine anymore. Any word on what will be replacing it? love my OS engines and will be needing a new engine come spring time and I would love to hear about the new OS.

I heard they were going to update it. no clues as to how? I decided to buy a Ninja JX. it's an O.S. motor, so you can't go wrong with that. besides the various versions of the v-spec, it's the only top of the line O.S based motor out there.

Dang, I was getting ready to order one, I guess I should wait till the updated one comes out before I do I guess....Anyone think they will still make parts for the VZB, just in case I can get one before they discontinue them....

I think you forgot the top of the line os speed engine. It's called a speed for a reason

I mentioned the various versions of the v-spec, and I meant the speed to be in that category. i own one, so I defiantly didn't forget it. But it is just a variation of the original v-spec. Albeit the best version that is.

I'm guessing that the "new" engine will be a purely OS-branded Ninja, maybe with a few minor improvements.

Yep I also recon you will see a Ninja style 21 V Spec as the new 25 also has a block that resembles that of the JX. It would make seance to do it as the block is proven to the race track, A few that i race with are just about to pop the new OS 25 on the track so im waiting to see how they preform for the Truggy. It would make seance to see a OS 21XZ in the same war "cloths" to help keep the cost down. What ever they bring out you know that it will be good.

i have seen guys a the track take a vspec and putting all ninja pats in it because they will get more run time, a minute more actually. they same the v-specs crank case has better air flow but the ninja parts are better. i saw a couple run and they will fly and they are pitting at 11 min in a buggy.
