My buddy made the switch from Byrons to Werks 30% and he commented on the nice oil residue left in the engine after running. For me it's Werks, cuz it works!

proprietary mix....I've asked before and the answer is there's enough. I honestly like that there's only one formulation. I used to run Sidewinder and have to remember which % oil I bought, was it race or worlds or..... sh#% I don't remember! Buying Werks is easy, just buy it.

I've been using byrons since I got into rc, About 25 years ago..I know I'm old..lol But I have never had an issue to date, I tryed a few others that wound up costing me a couple motors....

Werks has been good for me for a long time. Only problem is its kind of hard to get round here. I have a 150 mile round trip to get it now & that sucks hard but I have had so much good luck when running it I am willing to go the exrta mile(or 149 miles). Every time I tried something else I ran into problems with motor & other areas of the car & now my brain equates anything but Werks to car problems & not just motor problems.

Im not a chemist but from what i have studied the light red film of oil left behind in the engines of most fuels for lubrication is not after run oil additives but a product called SLIPEX .Slipex dissapates at over 1000 dF and from alot of testing we have conducted fuels burn to a pink colouring not a black or brown like most of the cheaper fuels do.
so anyone whos thinking about making there own fuel get your hands on slipex not only will you have cooler runs but longer life of engine parts
6 % syn ,4 % caster and 2% slipex the 11% mix

Byrons for me but that's because it's worked and since I started using it I've never looked back...my transition was Trinity to Odonell to Byrons(I only really switched from OD because it was the first to jump up to 40 bucks when I could still get byrons for $20 and that's 30% gallons btw..so yea.. a team mate of mines switched from byrons to werks and swears by it so I don't think you could go wrong with either

I live in Iowa (where Byrons is made). I've always run it since most others at the track do - support your local fuel producer!
I've never had any problems with Byron so I continue to run it.
