All of this talk of the Toro being soft on the bottom is a bunch of crap. If you run the right pipe/header (9901/41021) it has all the power your truggy will need. Frank, my Toro was well over 8 gallons (stock) on it and I still get a consistant 11 min a tank out of it, I got 12 min at Delta when I was there on Dec 5th. The problem that I have seen with all of the Toros I have tuned is too rich on the bottom and too lean up top. It likes a SLIGHTLY rich bottom, and since it revs to the moon, you need to keep an eye on the top. When optimally tuned, it should idle all day long with no issues.

My Toro still turns heads at the track. I regularly run down cars on straights with ease. Once you get it dialed in, I think you will really like that motor. Ask Phillip Atondo for help getting it tuned.

You have to compare aples to aples, to compare two motors put them in an exact same buggy, with the exact same electronics, exact same clutch setup on the same track under identical conditions, and then only then you can properly compare them, they are both good mills, just diferent.
