Default Axe Rossi Mamba

I just picked up one of these motors for my 8ight. Has anyone run this motor and have any idea on what pipes would work best for it.

I received my Mamba today. It sure is a nice looking engine. The quality looks very good and the piston fit is very tight like a nova engine. Anyone run this mill yet? Is the included R6 plug a good plug for it? What pipes does it like?

Hey mate. I have one of these motors with only 2ltrs run through it. The pipe I am using is a ttr efra 2039 kit. It has a ripper of a torque range low to mid I am just trying to get a little more top. The performance though is excellent. I run this motor in a ttr st1 and it is just what I was hoping for. The clutch bell is a 13t. I know a guy who also runs this motor with a efra 2047 and in his opinion is a great match also. The tracks I run on is fairly tight you need more torque maybe if it was more open I would use the ttr efra 2035. This should be a good starting point. I have been running the supplied axe 6 plug and its fine, still in. I have an lrp 6 platnium plug to use next. The nova 6 is also meant to be good for this motor. Cheers Scott.

The JP-3 works exceptional with the Mamba and Cobra.
And the Axe magic pipe 2022 bit with the std manifold as it comes with the angled manifold to fit the LSK/Black Magic

Does anyone have the factory settings for the Mamba's high and low needles. Mine keeps getting flooded and is hard to start when I try to start it for break-in. I have only managed to get it running for about 2 to 3 seconds.

can anyone that is running this motor tell me what a good plug is for it.... i have a motor on the way, and would like to know what plug is good..... I have ran odonnell 77 in the past on my 21bf with good luck, just wondering if that would be a good plug or the 99 or should i go with the rossi plugs?

also for a track with low traction 1 long straight and medium to low tight stuff and good gas milage PIPE... i have jp2, 086, 063, 053?

Thanks

The supplied glowplug works well. It is a Rossi #6. I will have to try the MC59 sometime. I would recommend the jammin JP3 pipe.

i got this motor, now i am ready for break-in... but one thing i would like to know is... do you have to add the shim for 30%... my motor can with a shim... and when i take it apart and look at it, it already has 2 shims... so if i add the other one, that would be 3 shims ? is this right for 30% ???

thanks
